The Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (IKMIB), which made a significant contribution to the Turkish chemical sector achieving its 2023 export target of USD 50 billion, aims to position its member companies as global market leaders. To that end, it organizes numerous initiatives to provide information, support, and foster cooperation among member firms.

Spanning all sub‑sectors of the chemical industry—from plastics to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals to coatings—I‑KMIB coordinates national participation in international trade fairs, and hosts technical seminars, trade missions, and buyer delegations to enhance the capabilities of its members. Moreover, it promotes sectoral R&D efforts to ensure sustainable growth.
